In this tutorial, I explored how you can use ChatGPT, now enhanced by the latest model, GPT-4o, to analyse and interact with documents and academic papers. To demonstrate, I used one of my own papers and crafted a specific prompt. I’ve also provided three different prompts in the description which you can check out and adapt to your needs.<\/p>\n

OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, recently announced this new GPT-4 model, which is the most advanced and fastest yet. My extensive testing has shown impressive results, particularly its ability to accurately find sources, a significant improvement over previous versions which often generated inaccurate information.<\/p>\n

In this tutorial I used ChatGPT-4o to analyse an academic paper and answer questions about it. I uploaded my paper and used this prompt: “Identify the key findings and implications of this article.” This paper discusses the veto power of the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.<\/p>\n
